Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL 151/2020)
As an Egyptian company processing personal data of residents in Egypt, Delta El Nile for Industry is subject to Law No. 151 of 2020 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "Egyptian PDPL"), enforced by the Personal Data Protection Center under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Your rights under the Egyptian PDPL

- Right to be informed about the collection and processing of your personal data, including the legal basis and purposes of processing.
- Right of access to your personal data held by Delta El Nile for Industry, free of charge for the first request per calendar year.

- Right to erasure of your personal data when no longer necessary for the purposes collected, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (e.g. marketing communications).

Cross-border data transfers
When transferring personal data outside Egypt (for example, to cloud-based service providers in the European Union or United States), Delta El Nile for Industry complies with Article 14 of the Egyptian PDPL by ensuring (a) the receiving country provides an adequate level of protection equivalent to Egyptian standards, or (b) the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or (c) you have provided explicit consent. Personal Data Protection Officer
